J.R. Kelly Company was founded by Joseph R. Kelly in 1975. The Spencer family took majority ownership of the company in 1989. Elizabeth Spencer gained 100% ownership in 2003 and remains the majority owner today. Each year we successfully complete jobs ranging in size from a thousand dollars to multi-million dollar projects. Gross receipts over the last 5 years have averaged about $20 million. We have bonding capabilities of $8-10 million per job and $20 million aggregate. We presently employ approximately 60 employees and are a certified WBE with the State of Indiana.
